Hockey PEI Partners with Charlottetown Islanders for Coaching Seminar
2015-11-13Hockey PEI and the Charlottetown Islanders have teamed up to celebrate the role of the coach and will be offering a free coach seminar on Wednesday, Nov 18 at the Eastlink Centre in Charlottetown.

Hockey PEI and the Charlottetown Islanders have teamed up to celebrate the role of the coach and will be offering a free coach seminar on Wednesday, Nov 18 at the Eastlink Centre in Charlottetown.
The Charlottetown Islanders staff will present on teaching individual skill, the forgotten goaltender, practice drills and a Q & A session. Presenters will include Head Coach – Jim Hulton, Assistant Coaches – Luke Beck and Connor Cameron and Goalie Coach Paul Drew.
This is the third year that Hockey PEI has partnered with the Charlottetown Islanders in this development project. “We are extremely pleased with the opportunity to have the Islanders coaching staff share some of their experience and insight with our coaches“, stated Hockey PEI President Barry Thompson. “We sincerely appreciate the contribution and cooperation of their staff.”
Coaches must be currently coaching in the Hockey PEI system in order to attend. The clinic is a professional development opportunity for coaches with no certification attached. Individuals interested in attending may register at the following link below.
