CBMF 50/50 fundraiser **volunteers required**

Hello Everyone, I am sure you are all aware of the upcoming Cavendish Beach Music Festival. For years now North Star Minor Hockey has been very fortunate to be able to organize volunteers to sell 50/50 tickets for the weekend long event in exchange for a percentage of the funds raised.

I would personally Like to thank all past and present  volunteers for their efforts, as it is a huge fundraiser for NSMHA.

 

NSMHA is very proud to have one of the lower registration rates on PEI for minor hockey, in the 7 years that I have been involved with NSMHA our registration rates have only gone up by 15 dollars ( other than the extra  $100 which goes directly to teams) . With the rising costs of ice time we are very lucky to have the CBMF as our 1 and only fundraising event for the year.

This year, as of now, we are short staffed for the event. If you Think you could make time to volunteer for 3-4 hrsover the weekend and listen to some great country music while doing so, it would be very much appreciated.

 

The last thing we would want is to have to give up this lucrative funding and have to do 3 or 4 fundraisers throughout the year to make up for it. Or even worse raise registration!

 

Keeping in mind that the money we earn from these 50/50 sales  divided by the number of players we register each year has equalled anywhere between $75-$100 per player.

 

I hate to come across as pushy but these are the facts and without this kind of funding the Money will have to come from somewhere.
