Provincials Game #3 - Montague 3 @ North Stars 1

Loss to Montague 3-1..!! Good game..!!
Sad to say...last game of the 2013-2014 season..!!
Everyone wanted a win, so the Grade XII girls would finish with a smile, but it wasn't to be.
Period #1: Montague scored their first goal at 9:55 of the first period. They also got a penalty with 3:47 left in the period, but North Stars couldn't get the puck past the Montague goalie. Shots on goal: 8-3 for Montague.
Period #2: Montague scored again at the 6:07 mark. Score now 2-0. Shots on goal: 6-3 Montague.
Period 3: North Stars hit the scoreboard with 5:23 left in the 3rd, on a lovely pass by Catherine to Ashley across the front of the net. Within 1 minute, Montague scored again to make it 3-1. Shots on goal 9-8 for North Stars. Total shots on goal 22-15 for Montague.
No penalties to North Stars...!!
