| * Team Fees (Funds Going To Team) = These funds are issued to the player’s team by North Star MHA in October (or as soon as teams are established) and are managed by the team manager to help to cover referee fees, linesmen fees, extra ice (if approved by parents), and tournament fees (if approved by parents). This applies regardless of which team a North Star player ends up playing for this season (i.e. North Star A, Gulf Storm AA, Matrix AAA). However, these funds cannot be used to purchase personal items for players (such as socks, hats, jackets, etc.). The amount per player represents an average “team fee” that is usually requested by coaches or managers at the beginning of the season to cover these costs. Some teams request more, some less, depending on the number of tournaments attended and any other fundraising the team/parents complete during the season. |

| NOTES: | |||||||||
| NEW PLAYER (Novice and up) means a child who has never registered and played hockey before in any Hockey Canada association and who PLAYS on a Novice-Midget team in the current season. A NEW Novice player will see $50 (from registration fee) go to the team on their behalf. As this represents the regular team fee, no additional amount is payable to the team at start up. A NEW Atom-Midget player will see $50 (from registration fee) go to the team on their behalf. This amount represents ½ of the regular team fee amount, so Atom-Midget players will be required to pay the additional ½ amount of the team fees directly to the team manager, once teams are established, to cover referees, linesmen, tournaments, etc. ($50 each) |

| Initiation players are players aged 6 & under, who PLAY Initiation level during the current season. | |||||||||
