Matrix Board Rep required immediately

North Star Minor Hockey Association (NSMHA) has an immediate vacancy for a volunteer to be a representative on the Matrix Board that governs Male AAA hockey in our zone. AAA is the highest level for of Rep Hockey in PEI and is found in the Atom, Peewee, Bantam and Midget divisions. The Matrix governing body is made up of 2 volunteer representatives from each association and operates as a separate and distinct entity, with its own constitution and Hockey PEI rules. At present the Matrix board is in need of a chairperson, treasurer, and a representative from the North Star association.  A description of the duties and responsibilities are found on the MidIsle Matrix website.  As a North Star representative you would help with making decisions for the day to day operations of the four associations from the Matrix zone. You do not have to be a member of the NSMHA board to fill this position you just have to be from the North Star zone.
